Non-painting partners can either accompany us on working trips or operate independently.

  1. STANDARD STUDY PROGRAM:
    Featuring your selected subject/media incorporating a mix of topics and exercises, working as part of a small group.
  2. FOCUS ON DRAWING:
    Development of traditional skills and techniques via observational study, use of Draughtsmanship, Media, Line, Tone, Form, Proportions, Perspective, etc, working as part of a small group.
  3. FOCUS ON ART IN NATURE:
    Special interest workshops on this topic; be stimulated and inspired by local natural forms, working as part of a small group.
  4. FOCUS ON LANDSCAPES:
    Special interest workshops concentrating on this topic, working as part of a small group.
  5. FOCUS ON CHARACTER VILLAGESCAPES:
    Special interest workshops concentrating on this topic incorporating charming villagescapes, village scenes and character/historic buildings, working as part of a small group.
  6. FOCUS ON IMPRESSIONISM:
    Special interest workshops concentrating on this topic and exploring the skills, techniques and history of this Art genre, working as part of a small group.
  7. FOCUS ON LIFE STUDIES:
    Special interest workshops concentrating on this topic and featuring Figure study (including via the nude model) and Portraiture, working as part of a small group.
  8. FOCUS ON ABSTRACTS:
    An introduction to and development of experimental and intuitive self-expression and Abstraction, working as part of a small group.
  9. SPECIAL 1-on-1 PERSONAL PROGRAM:
    Intensive and ‘private’ tuition for individuals incorporating their chosen subject/media.
  10. DIPLOMA PREPARATION PROGRAM:
    Specialist individual tuition particularly for those preparing their portfolios for Art school or furthering an Art/Design career (school/college leavers, etc): these are tailor-made intensive and comprehensive crammer’s study courses linked to modules as required for IB, IGCSE, HND, A-level (AS and A2), GCSE, BTEC or other qualifications.

Please note:
Students supply their own materials to work with; we can advise on a suggested range if this is requested. Basic equipment is provided on-site, eg, easels, boards, work-stools and water-pots. A limited range of papers and Art products are available for sale on site, others can be purchased nearby.
